Human Resource Administrator (ID. 95)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for maintaining weekly time clock punches for review and approval process for weekly non-exempt payroll
  • Responsible for managing time & attendance policy for non-exempt staff
  • Responsible for administrating time & attendance corrective action reports to managers or supervisors
  • Process weekly payroll functions for employees ensuring compliance with all state, federal and wage and hour laws
  • Responsible for maintaining/scanning employee data; garnishments, direct deposits, vacation, PTO, healthcare, dental, HSA, 401(k), ACA and AFLAC deductions
  • Administer, verify and manage all accrued vacation and PTO time
  • Administer enrollment and tracking FMLA and PFL
  • Recruits, interviews, reference checks and selects applicants to fill non-exempt positions.  Coordinate pre-employment tests with WPH
  • Responsible for onboarding process for all new hires (Direct and Temp Agency)
  • Plan and conduct new hire orientation to foster positive attitude toward CFI’s core values.  Execute I-9, direct deposit, handbook policies and company benefits
  • Execute, maintain and manage personnel records; new hires, wages, promotions, transfers and terminations
  • Administers Medical, HSA and Dental plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
  • Administers NYSD, Enhanced Disability, Unemployment Claims, COBRA and AFLAC
  • Oversee employee reviews are implemented in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or more than 3+ years of Payroll/HR experience
  • Daily interaction with all non-exempt & exempt CFI directors, managers, supervisors, leads and line employees
  • Previous experience using:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Paylocity, Power Point and Internet
  • Must have strong attention to detail aptitude
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Human Resources Capacity (compensation & benefits, payroll)
  • Strong Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ethical Conduct
  • Time Management
